It is the time of the year when we take down our old calendars in replacement of new ones. I do hope that 2009 made you a better and wiser person. Trials after all is God’s way of molding us towards perfection.
This is also the time were people make resolutions that are often neglected after a few months. I am not discouraging you to make one because I believe in the power of goal setting. What I do hope for you is the will to see them through and hopefully, we can all review our accomplishments come 2011.
The new year is a good time to start something new. We should always make it a point to enrich ourselves. Go learn a new language, start a simple walking club, be more serious in one of your hobbies, take one short course in a university or any learning institution, or do one photo manipulation tutorial once a week.
Take an extra step and give something you do not like a chance. If you are not fond of eating vegetables, try it for a reasonable time. You might be able to grow an appreciation for it and that’s one more step of improvement for you.
Whatever you plan of doing in 2010, I do hope that it’ll be a rewarding and fulfilling year for all of us. Happy 2010, friends!
