Tataya Ako Kay Gordon

When I created this blog, I promised myself that I will refrain from writing about politics. Pardon and allow me this opportunity…

Eight years ago, Senator Richard Gordon was the guest speaker of the Technological Institute of the Philippines. It was that day when I told myself that should this man decides to run for president, he will have my vote. Eight years is enough to change a man’s opinion about someone. But come May 10, I will mark his name on my ballot with that same conviction.
Why Richard Gordon? Subic after the Americans left, WOW! Philippines, Red Cross work.
I have heard a number of people who believes that Gordon can be a good president but have decided to join the yellow army because they do not want a Villar presidency. I also do not want a Villar presidency but I do not see Aquino as a better alternative. I don’t think I will be doing my country any favor should the latter wins.
We Filipinos have a serious need for discipline and Richard “Dick” Gordon is what the Philippines need right now. The man does not sugar-coat and does not patronize. He speaks his mind bluntly and acts decisively. We need a leader that is tough enough to straighten out things in this country. I am aware that if he wins, he will introduce policies that I might raise objections to because it will give me discomfort, but I’m ready for that because I want a better Philippines. And as he molds the country, I too will become a better Filipino.
Tataya ako kay Gordon! But I will pray that God gives us the rightful president…

i agree with you.. ako gordon din.. mula high school pa lang ako ay gusto ko na sya.. nakita ko ang liderato nya.. ako ay christian.. gaya hi brother eddie but di ma take ng conscience ko pag di ko sinunod ang puso ko..
hi orville! i gave bro. eddie a try when he last ran for office. i thought na baka sya na yung sugo ng Panginoon to bring about change in the country. kaso he clearly lost. i think that is a message from God that he is not meant for this. politics may not be the medium God wants him to effect change in this country.
it is obvious who will win in this election.. even though gordon will not win, i still have something etched in my heart about his good leadership.. we just pray and support the winner of this election.. God bless us all… God bless this nation,,
do we already have a proclaimed president? im no longer updated but i think wala pa. Goodness! why is this taking so long?! i hope noynoy turns out to be a better president than i expect. now that he is the likely winner, i hope he proves my impression of him wrong.
hello ronnie. tnx for dropping by. like i already wrote in my post, it’s the likes of efren that can change the Philippines. Yup, i voted for bro. eddie last election. That’s as far as it goes. just want to let you know i voted for GORDON! Our reasons are obvious already. Let’s pray for the best. Those who serves yield the power to change this nation. this is why we are more into service than politics. God bless!
i know Gordon will not win against the popularity of the leading candidates but him placing sixth?! heart break… :(
