It has been a month and a half since we cast our votes and I still have my indelible ink on. Stubborn ink! But before it totally wears off and since today is also the inauguration of the 15th President of the Republic of the Philippines, I want to divulge the people I voted for last election. This gives me a sense of accountability for the choices I made.
When I created this blog, I promised myself that I will refrain from writing about politics. Pardon and allow me this opportunity…

Eight years ago, Senator Richard Gordon was the guest speaker of the Technological Institute of the Philippines. It was that day when I told myself that should this man decides to run for president, he will have my vote. Eight years is enough to change a man’s opinion about someone. But come May 10, I will mark his name on my ballot with that same conviction.
Why Richard Gordon? Subic after the Americans left, WOW! Philippines, Red Cross work.
I have heard a number of people who believes that Gordon can be a good president but have decided to join the yellow army because they do not want a Villar presidency. I also do not want a Villar presidency but I do not see Aquino as a better alternative. I don’t think I will be doing my country any favor should the latter wins.
We Filipinos have a serious need for discipline and Richard “Dick” Gordon is what the Philippines need right now. The man does not sugar-coat and does not patronize. He speaks his mind bluntly and acts decisively. We need a leader that is tough enough to straighten out things in this country. I am aware that if he wins, he will introduce policies that I might raise objections to because it will give me discomfort, but I’m ready for that because I want a better Philippines. And as he molds the country, I too will become a better Filipino.
Tataya ako kay Gordon! But I will pray that God gives us the rightful president…
