Life Goes On

Cheers to another year!

Today, my domain name starts its third year (but I have been blogging since 2004). Publishing only 69 posts for two years almost made me think twice about renewing it but I have this nature of finding it difficult to give up things I have long possessed. Though there are time when we need to empty our hands so that we may fill it up with new, better, and more important things. But that does not remove the pain of letting go.

This coming third year is full of uncertainty and uncertainty is one of the things I truly hate. All I can do now is hope and pray for the best. Hopefully, things will straighten out in time.

This collection is part of my first few test shots after acquiring my Nikon D60 three years ago. I say they were shot at random as I was exploring and familiarizing myself on the camera’s function buttons. I am posting chosen images to remember that day.

Quick Stop

I’m still alive. Haggardness but alive… ^^

I was really not that busy nor did I run out of things to write. There are just times that I just can’t force myself in to blogging. Hopefully this post will be followed by more posts in the coming days. I have a lot of topics to cover.

[At this point I am already feeling the urge to abandon completing this post. So before I do just that, let me give you a quick run on the things I wanted to share and a few shout out to fellow bloggers.]

Congratulations to Titanium Runner for being included in the next Bataan Death March. I would normally say “break a leg” but it is probably best not to do so this time. God bless on your training dude!

I have long been wanting to order a Road ID for myself but there are some things holding me back. Thanks to Hotlegs Runner for the resolve to get one. This is indeed a dream freebie. Thanks again!

I went out for a 3D/2N trip to Iloilo this week. I have finally seen all four Baroque Churches in the Philippines that was declared as heritage sites by UNESCO. I’ll be posting photos soon.

Discover Cavite. My recent trip to Iloilo once again revived my desire to compile a “must list” for my very own province. This will definitely be no easy task as I myself am having a hard time thinking of recommendations to Cavite visitors. Will definitely need collaborations for this.

… and I’m done. ^^

P.S. Thanks to Jeff for the photo above.

Exploding Contact Tags

Though I am not the type of blogger who goes out regularly for EBs, I felt the need to have my own set of contact cards during last month’s Aliwan Fiesta. This came about because I wanted to have my photos taken with some participants but I thought that it’s troublesome to hand over my camera to other photographers and let them take the photo. It will be more convenient for both parties if they just shoot using their camera and just email the photos to me at their convenience. Thus, I needed a contact card. Who knows, we might end up as good friends as well.

The design was patterned to the exploding tags weapon being thrown out by ninjas on the anime Naruto where concept design for this blog was also lifted.
