When WordPress 3.0 “Thelonious” was released yesterday, I immediately upgraded my installation. In the process, I messed up my configuration file and because of some issues with my host, it took me more than twelve hours to resolve the issue.
Anyway, I haven’t fully explored the new release yet. Since my theme is not fully compatible with 3.0, I might not be able to check new features lest I use the new default theme. I’ll probably just check it out in a test blog.
For my initial discovery, some plugins are not yet compliant to 3.0 and may result to the dashboard being inaccessible. The lifestream plugin specifically disrupts my site and I had to take it down until they update. However, I think I’m starting to like my homepage without the lifestream… we’ll see.

This is a poor attempt to create a new post after eighteen days with no updates. I wanted to create a meatier content but my mind is blank these days. I’ll try better next time… I think I need to reboot myself.
