Road Accident Magnet

It makes me wonder how some people manages to be on the road for so many years without meeting any accident while I already have three counts of incidents in less than three decades.
[1] First accident was when I was still a kid between age 4 to 6. My uncle took me for a ride on his bike. I was sitting uncomfortably on the top tube and so I was constantly moving to ease the discomfort when my right foot was caught between the spokes of the front wheel. It was painful and I had difficulty walking for a short time.
[2] Second accident was when I was probably around 7 to 9 years old on a bike with a side car. I was the one driving and have my sister and a few cousins as passenger when an elder cousin jump on board behind the back of the side car. The cab flipped and I fell back first. This incident was very vivid to me as I feared that I have become mute after trying to cry but no sound came out of my mouth.
[3] Third memorable incident was when I was already 23. A friend and I was crossing the street a few minutes before midnight. There were very few vehicles on the road but we had to stop in the middle as a fast car was moving towards us. We were not aware that another vehicle from the opposite lane is also approaching and as we were about to cross the second half of the road, the car coming behind us hit my left foot. I got a broken bone that remained on cast cement for two months and skipped two school semesters.
[4] The very recent incident was colliding with a taxi while I was backing the car. I do not want to elaborate on this incident for now.
This made me think that I am one unlucky road accident magnet (RAM). Hopefully, with lots of extra care, incident number 4 will be the last on the list as the thought of ramming my way through life does not appeal to me that much.
Tomorrow, we will be heading off to Bangkok. I hope that I am safer when airborne. Pray for us… :D
