Our Amazing Race in Thailand

I will be scratching off one item from my bucket list as I have finally managed to visit Thailand. It was a short trip but I can say that we have made the most out of our stay.
There are so many things to write about and so many things to share. I know that I am not obliged to make a thorough documentation but as a sign of gratitude to the numerous articles I have read that have greatly helped make our trip memorable, I decided to make one in return hoping that it will help other Thailand-first-timers.

This post will be the first of a series. Watch out for my impression of Thailand and the details on some items in our itinerary. For the meantime, here is an outline of our adventure:
DAY 1 – January 12, 2010
11:30 PM – Arrived in Bangkok and checked-in at Benz Resident in Petchburi
DAY 2 – January 13, 2010
08:00 AM – Call Time
10:00 AM – Arrived at Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden and Resort
12:30 PM – Buffet lunch at Nong Nooch
02:30 PM – Arrived at Pattaya Floating Market
03:30 PM – Arrived at Gem
06:30 PM – Buffet dinner at Siam Niramit
08:00 PM – Siam Niramit Show
10:00 PM – Returned to hotel
10:30 PM – Night market shopping around Baiyoke Sky Hotel
DAY 3 – January 14, 2010
08:00 AM – Breakfast at McDonald’s
09:00 AM – Call Time
10:00 AM – Stop-over at jewelry shop #1
11:00 AM – Arrived in The Grand Palace
01:00 PM – Arrived in Wat Pho
03:00 PM – Stop-over at jewelry shop #2
04:30 PM – Returned to hotel
05:30 PM – Arrived in MBK Shopping Mall
08:00 PM – Arrived at the hotel
10:00 PM – Arrived at the airport
DAY 4 – January 15, 2010
12:35 AM – Departed Bangkok
04:30 AM – Arrived in Manila
With only 49 hours to stay in Thailand and covering as much as we can, I can say that our trip was indeed one amazing race.
