This collection is part of my first few test shots after acquiring my Nikon D60 three years ago. I say they were shot at random as I was exploring and familiarizing myself on the camera's function buttons. I am posting chosen images to remember that day.

The 2010 Aliwan Fiesta for this year took off behind SM Mall of Asia. Other people might count this as an improvement but I personally think CCP Complex is a better starting point. MOA’s lack of shade made the summer afternoon heat unbearable for everyone. That probably explains why performers are less cheerful this year.

Visiting Thailand is one of the items in my bucket list. Though I have managed to set foot on it, I couldn't easily scratch it off. It was just a two day visit and I feel that I have not explored Bangkok enough. The trip, though short, was sweet... and spicy. Haha. I would definitely be back for more.

The 2009 Aliwan Fiesta served as Litratong Pinoy’s venue for its second official photo opportunity eyeball. The event is presented yearly by the Manila Broadcasting Company where different festival performers all over the country battles against each other as they parade along Roxas Boulevard. The event also have floats and muses as its highlights.

Celebrated Valentine’s Day of 2009 by driving off early to Clark Subic for the last day of the 14th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. I am a little disappointed because the sky was not at its best that morning. So no blue skies at this series. A word of caution for first timers who plans of spending the whole day at the site, the heat can be a little harsh so prepare thyself.

Ilocos will always hold a special place in my memory. It holds such cultural, natural, structural, and historical beauty that cannot be easily forgotten. That three day trip was more than enough to captivate me but is too short to fully explore the region. This is a place that I would love going back too.

We decided to visit Taal, Batangas one cloudy afternoon wanting to see what was tagged as the largest Catholic church in Asia. However, we were also surprised by the simple and rustic feel of the town. We will definitely come back to explore more.
